Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital Pet Lodging

DOGS

Boarding facilities include indoor and outdoor runs.  Indoor runs have heated floors and doors provide access to the outdoor runs.  For your dogs' comfort we have added a new special feature!  Our outdoor runs are now equipped with a misting system to keep them cool and comfortable in hot summer weather.  Dogs are also provided with blankets, food and water.  Our facility includes a large fenced yard where, for an additional charge your dog may be taken for walks and/or playtime.  All dogs are taken to the play area alone; we do not group the dogs for safety reasons.

We require proof of the following canine vaccines:  Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella.  We require that the Bordetella is given every six months to insure the health of the dogs boarding here.    Additional information about canine vaccines can be found here.

If you would like us to provide vaccines for your pet, an examination is required.  We are a full service veterinary hospital.  We have an excellent doctor on staff who can provide a vaccine exam and needed vaccines.  You will receive a written report of any findings and recommendations for your pet.  For your convenience, we can also provide needed annual tests such as heartworm exam and an intestinal parasite check (fecal) while your pet boards with us.

We also offer Hydro Surge baths and pedicures.  Please feel free to ask about our services.

Dog pickup time is 3 PM.  If you pick your dog up before then you will not be charged for the day of pickup.  If you pick up your dog after 3 PM you will be charged for that day unless your dog is given a bath.

Your dog will be fed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach.  This is a kibble made especially for boarding.   It is a bland diet so your dog's system will not be upset by the change in food.  You may bring your own food if your dog is on a special diet.

Please do not bring toys or chew bones as they tend to get stuck in the drains.

CATS

Cats are boarded indoors.  They are provided with food, water, blankets and a litter box.  The cat boarding facility is in the hospital in a quiet area away from the dogs.  We are not able to let them out but they are given attention during the day by the staff.

We require proof of the following feline vaccines:  Rabies and FVRC-P.  If your cat needs vaccinations we can provide them.  Additional information about feline vaccines can be found here.

For convenience we provide online clinic forms.  Click the button below for a boarding release form.  Just print the form, fill it out and bring it in!  If you have any additional questions please give us a call at (415) 479-8535.
