PET POISONING

Many substances in your home can be toxic to your pets.  Dogs are especially prone to poisonings as they may be likely to consume almost anything.  Signs of poisoning can include vomiting, diarrhea, nervousness, difficulty breathing, change in pupil size, convulsions and unconsciousness.  If you suspect your pet may have ingested or come in contact with a poisonous substance call your veterinarian immediately.  If your veterinarian is unavailable there are several 24-hour animal emergency numbers available including:
