Boarding

Boarding & GroomingWhy rely on a friend or untrained pet sitter to take care of your pets while you go on vacation or travel for business? Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital can provide you and your dog or cat with an affordable, safe and comfortable place to stay while you are away.

Built in the 1950s, our boarding kennels have been updated and modernized to provide climate controlled inside/outdoor runs, heated floors, as well as a number of other amenities. Our guests enjoy one-on-one playtime with our trained staff in an enclosed play yard and two walks each day.

Cats are housed inside the main hospital and are provided a safe and climate controlled cat condo away from the treatment areas. They also receive a lot of one-on-one time and care from our welcoming and friendly staff.

We feed our guests Hill’s Sensitive Stomach to decrease the likelihood of stomach upset due to a change in diet. We also encourage pet owners to bring their pet’s regular food as well as some personal items in order to create a more home-like atmosphere.

We do ask that you make a reservation to ensure that we can accommodate you. Your pet must be up-to-date on rabies, distemper and kennel cough (Bordetella) vaccines for dogs and FVRCP and rabies for cats. We also ask that both cats and dogs show proof of a negative intestinal parasite test within the last six months.

Boarding packages begin around $27 and can be tailored to specific services to accommodate your pet's needs. Please contact our boarding facility for boarding rates: 415-479-8535.

Grooming

Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital provides grooming services, specialty baths and pedicures. In particular, we utilize a Hydrosurge system that delivers shampoo and water in a way that penetrates the fur and massages the skin. Not only does this produce a relaxing and deeper cleaning for your pet’s fur, but it is environmentally friendly as well.

We also offer sedated baths and shave-downs for pets that do not tolerate regular grooming, or may have severe matting to their coats.
