Tails of Terra Linda Pet Resort - General Information
Welcome to Tails of Terra Linda Pet Resort!
Thank you for your interest in boarding your pet with us! Please review the following information prior to scheduling your pet's temperament evaluation.
Getting Started
- All paperwork and vaccination records must be completed and submitted before scheduling your pet's temperament evaluation.
- Facility Tours may be scheduled Mondays and Fridays. Please call the front desk to arrange.
- Temperament evaluations are $55 per dog and include a half day of daycare. Currently we are performing temperament evaluations on Mondays and Fridays. You may schedule a time to drop your pet off between 8AM - 12PM.
- Evaluations help us tailor your pet's experience and ensure a safe, comfortable stay.
- We cannot schedule services until your completed client packet and verified vaccinations are on file.
Health & Vaccination Requirements
Dogs must be current on:
- Rabies
- DAP
- CIV
- Bordetella (within 6 months)
- Fecal Test (Giardia negative) within 6 months—please allow up to 48 hours for processing by your veterinarian.
Cats must be current on:
- FVRCP
- Rabies
Flea prevention is required for both dogs and cats. If fleas are found during your pet's stay, they will be treated at the owner's expense.
All records must be received at least 3 days prior to check-in.
Daycare Options
- Just a Break (2.5 hrs) - $27
- Half Day (up to 6.5 hrs) - $38
- Full Day (up to 12 hrs) - $49
Discounted Daycare Packages (advance reservations required):
Full Day: 10 days - $445 | 20 days - $858 | 30 days - $1,250
Half Day: 10 days - $420 | 20 days - $810 | 30 days - $1180
Per-Night Dog Boarding Rates:
- Premier Suite (8’ 8”) - $104
- Deluxe Suite (7' 6.5”) - $93
- Town House (5’ 5”) - $80
- Condo (5’ 4”) - $72
- Loft (4’ 3”) - $61
Dogs sharing the same boarding space receive a 10% discount per dog
Per-Night Cat Boarding Rates:
- Kitty Condo - $48
Cats sharing the same boarding space receive a 10% discount per cat
Boarding Accommodations
Check-In: by 4:30 PM | Check-Out: by 12 PM
- Late checkout: +$35 | After-hours pickup: +$20 ($40 on holidays) -- advanced approval required with email confirmation.
All stays include:
- Glass-enclosed room, luxury raised bedding, stainless steel bowls for our canine friends
- Potty breaks for a pups and clay litter for our cats, Science Diet Sensitive Skin and Stomach kibble (or equivalent)
- Playtime (if eligible)
- Suites include webcam and TV
Special Needs or Personal Care
- If your dog is not dog-social or has unique needs, they may be eligible for our Personal Care Program at an additional cost of $28/day. Please reach out to a team member for more information.
Medication Administration Cost
- No Charge: Medication is administered 1-2 times daily and given in food (think vitamins, fish oil). If the pet refuses the medication, it will not cause harm.
- $10/day: Medication is administered 1-2 times per day and requires additional preparation (i.e. administration with treats, before or after meals, pilling). It is important pet gets the medication regularly (think thyroid medication, antibiotics, etc).
- $20/day: Medication is administered more than twice per day or requires expert handling. Medication is of critical importance (think insulin, administration to a non-cooperative pet, seizure medication)
No drop-offs/pick-ups on the following major holidays:
- Christmas
- New Year's Day
- Thanksgiving
- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Memorial Day
Some Final Notes:
- We are pleased to offer a 10% discount on all services to active duty military and senior citizens (65+ years of age)
- Our partner, Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital, is pleased to offer 50% off your pet's first exam in order to provide the most comprehensive care possible.
- Pets with serious medical conditions or pets over 10 years of age must be cleared to board by your primary veterinarian -or- examined annually and cleared by one of our partner veterinarians at Terra Linda Veterinary Hospital.
